What information does RealTapestry collect? How is it used?

When you order, we need to know your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number credit card number, and expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status.

When you enter a contest or other promotional feature, we may ask for your name, address, and email address so we can administer the contest and notify winners.

We personalize your shopping experience by using your purchases to shape our recommendations about our products and other merchandise that might be of interest to you. We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of the site.

Will RealTapestry disclose the information it collects to outside parties?

We respect your privacy. RealTapestry does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others without your prior consent. We may share non-personal, aggregate statistical information regarding our customers, sales, traffic patterns, and site usage with our partners. For example, we may develop summary, not individual, reports for our advertisers. An example of a summary report might be "10,000 people clicked on advertisement A today and of those people, 10% had previously purchased a product from RealTapestry." We never tell our partners who it was that saw or clicked on their advertisements unless you have specifically told us this is acceptable.
